As mentioned previously we received the much awaited TRF416 some time ago. Having built and run the car now we’re even more impressed. This car is great! We’re very exited about the car and look forward to the 2008 racing season.

We will receive the first shipment of the brand new Tamiya TRF416 next week!
The TRF416 is already a winner, having won its first race, the JMRCA Touring Car All-Japan Championships. Reports coming from the drivers have been extremely positive, with the TRF416 considered a definite improvement in every area over the TRF415.
The 2007 JMRCA Touring Car All-Japan Championships was held at Yatabe Arena, Japan from November 16th-18th. Tamiya Racing Factory (TRF) drivers were out in force with their new TRF416 machines, with Marc Rheinard taking the 1st place victory, Viktor Wilck taking 7th place, and Satoshi Maezumi taking 9th place in the Super Expert Class. In addition, Takayuki Kawano in the Expert Class used his position as top qualifier to take home the victory with his TRF416 as well. This double victory for the TRF416 clearly demonstrates the awesome capabilities of the new high-performance chassis!
